The latest installment from Telltale Games is going to be called A NEW FRONTIER, and it will be released to computers and consoles in November. “This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what’s come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One,” says Telltale games CEO Kevin Bruner. The graphics look just like the pages of a comic book—appropriately enough considering that the whole THE WALKING DEAD phenomenon began its un-life as a comic book series—or stills from an animated program. They are, I presume, screenshots from the upcoming game.

Can I just be honest with y’all? I am SO out of the loop on gaming stuff. Every once in a blue moon I’ll pop a game in my old Playstation 2, but that’s about as far as my gaming experience goes. It just doesn’t obsess me the way it does your normal gamer; also it’s just too expensive a hobby for me to indulge. So, someone want to explain this one to me? How can a video game even have “seasons?” Look, I’m a Romero man. I’m old school. I admit I’m somewhat tech illiterate. I’m capable of learning, though. All I need is for someone to teach me. And to buy me the latest console and a copy of this game. See, I’m willing to learn!
